Visual Art Supply is a new independent, artist owned, artist operated, art supply store and gallery. We are dedicated to supporting a sustainable art presence in Normal Heights and its neighboring San Diego communities.

The mission of Visual Art Supply is to be one of San Diego ’s leading art resource centers by (1) providing practical art materials for artists, students, and educators and (2) hosting contemporary art exhibitions and sponsoring community-based programs and events. It is our goal to inspire and fulfill the artistic needs of the San Diego community - artists, collectors, critics, educators and students alike.

Visual Art Supply is devoted to creating artistic awareness, development and exploration. We aim to engage the local art community and educate the public by hosting curated exhibitions with quality works of art created by local artists. Visual Art Supply is a venue for unique and innovative programming open to collaboration with fellow art organizations and/or businesses.

Head on over during the Adams Ave Street Fair on September 25th.  They art hosting an “Art Slam” and artists are signing up to paint live and sell their wares.  There’s always art on the walls and they’re super nice.

Or every Wednesday afternoon you can check out the Adams Ave Farmers Market & grab some veggies on your way back from the shop.

Just another way to support your local artists & businesses all in one!  Say hi to Jason for us!

Introducing Sezio - An art nonprofit you should know about

Posted By Kelly Orange on September 14, 2010

Through collaboration comes great ideas.  This year we are bringing on Sezio, a local art nonprofit to curate 2 of the Art Haul trucks at the event as well as provide some other creative surprises you’ll love.  They are doing a lot around San Diego, and we’re excited to work with them and support their cause!  Here’s what they’re all about…

Sezio is a non-profit organization based in San Diego, California.  Sezio provides resources, exposure and community support to emerging artists and musicians through a variety of new media, events, retail and community programs.

Sezio.org launched in June of 2008, providing in depth coverage of visual arts and contemporary live music in San Diego.  Powered by a small group of talented volunteers, Sezio.org has garnered over 65,000 unique visitors within its first two years.  Sezio’s live events are an extension of its website, showcasing emerging artists and musicians while cultivating San Diego’s creative community.

Sezio, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
