StayClassy, the leader in social fundraising for Nonprofits, announced Fruit of the Soul as one of the Top 5 CLASSY Awards Finalists for Most Successful fundraiser by an Individual/Group!
Locally referred to as the Academy Awards® of Philanthropy, the 2nd Annual CLASSY Awards recognizes the top philanthropic achievements in eight (8) cities across the country: Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. From October 9 until October 22, you can visit classyawards.stayclassy.org and vote for Fruit of the Soul to be named a City Winner for Most Successful fundraiser by an Individual/Group.
Each City Winner will represent their hometown and compete in the National voting round from October 23 – November 5 for a chance to win a prestigious CLASSY Award. National Winners will be recognized at the Hollywood-esque CLASSY Awards ceremony in San Diego with a chance to win $10,000 in cash and in-kind donations to their charitable cause.

There are some really fun things that you can donate!
The giving tree is alive! We asked our beneficiaries for a list of tangible “needs” that our friends and family could purchase or donate to their cause. You can help us by pledging to donate, purchase or give a monetary donation towards any or a couple of these needs. There is a range in prices and some of the needed items can be donated if they are gently used, while for some of them a monetary donation is preferred… there’s definitely something that’s attainable for everyone.(more…)

Very excited to announce that Collaboration Kitchen has raised $1,748.14 to date for us through monthly cooking demos with guest chefs who cook & prepare Scallops, Corvina, Yellowtail & sometimes Octopus! There are also educational seminars lead by the Catalina Offshore crew. It’s always a fun filled night of seafood education, recipes and tastings, brought to you by Specialty Produce and Catalina Offshore Products.
The next event is Sunday September 26th at 6pm at Catalina Offshore with Chef Chad White. The cost is $45 & there’s only 50 available spots which have always SOLD OUT, so come out and enjoy yourself. It’s quite yummy!
